i need help analyzing the Rhythm to THE BLUE DANUBE!! PLEASE?
i really need help please. i need to talk about patterns of tension and rerase,interrelated aspects:
beat, meter, accent, and syncopation and tempo. that kind of stuff.
please don't reply with "DYOH" i been trying. i come here for help not for judgment on my school work.

Rhythm ... this is a classic Viennese waltz "Um pa pa"
Imagine a journey down a river while listening to this music (You've got to do this for yourself.) As the music starts, is the water peaceful, or swift. Are you floating with the water or struggling against it? How does the music take _you_ down the river?
Beat and meter are addressed at the top of this post
Accent: Do you hear any, where are they? Are the throughout the piece or only in certain sections?
Syncopation: Is there any music that seems to fall "off the beat"? What do you think Strauss is trying to convey by that?
Tempo: Is it slow or fart, is it uniform or does it change throughout the piece? What imagery does that conjure up in your mind?
... The reasons that people answer with DYOH is generally when the questioner doesn't appear to have done any homework. You've asked the question before, and let it go to a vote. If you're not getting what you need from the answers, the questions need clarification.
