Longaberger Review, Read this before Joining
Longaberger is a very unique network marketing Company selling handcrafted basket and specialty pottery dinnerware.
This family business began from the rich family history starting with Dave's Father, J.W. Longaberger in 1919, when he started working for Dreseden Basket Factory, it was there that he mastered the fine craft of making basket base and learned the skill of weaving basket precisely and tightly, which eventually became the trademark for Longaberger's basket.
In 1976 Dave opened J.W. Handwoven Baskets in honor of his father. He also bought and used the old woolen mill as his basket factory, which his mother had worked in when he was very young. He first began selling these baskets through retail shops. However two years later, he came to realized a better way of selling these basket, which was through home shows, where a qualified consultant show the detail history and craftmanship of each basket, from these parties, consultant usually arrange for more parties from the guest of their referrals. Since then Longaberger has been selling their basket through direct selling.
Although very few have believed in his business, Dave continue his commitment and succeeded. The Longaberger Company now has more than 45,000 consultants in US working to realize their own financial dreams.
The company has also live up to their mission statement, "To Stimulate a better Quality of Life".
Dave's daughter Tami joined the business in 1984 and proved herself to be an excellent leader and was later appointed president of Longaberger. Since then she had helped to extend the company product range to include other home lifestyle products such as Pottery, colorful fabrics accessories, wrought iron pieces, liners and protectors for their baskets.
Longaberger works slightly different from most network marketing companies. During your initial sign up on their website, a consultant in your area will contact you and help you to get started by training you to hold the basket shows. The training mostly involves learning the product line and its unique qualities along with its history.
Once are qualified as a consultant, you will receive 25% disocunt on all Longaberger products. Through the company Home Show Experience you can also earn commissions.
To get started, you will need to pay $49. You can also choose to pay for the Business Basic Kit at $159 to receive the basic kit.
